Senior Marketing Manager
About the job
We’re looking for a driven, creative Senior Marketing Manager to own the full marketing execution for imagi in the USA K-12 market & educators globally. This is not a strategy-only role, you will plan and do: creating content, running campaigns, coordinating conferences, and building imagi’s presence with teachers, school leaders, and district administrators.
You will be an AI-native marketer who actively uses AI tools to move faster, produce more, and punch above your weight in a lean, remote team in different time zones globally. You’ll work closely with our Chief Growth Officer (Sari), our Marketing Operation Manager (Helen), our Educational Partnership Manager (Naomi), and our Director of District Partnerships (Steph), and you’ll free them up to do more of what they’re best at.
What you´ll own
Content & Brand
Own end-to-end content production: social media posts, case studies, one-pagers, email copy, blog posts, and video scripts with AI tools as your co-pilot.
Build and maintain a content calendar that keeps imagi top-of-mind for K-12 teachers, instructional coaches, and district decision-makers across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
Create “viral-worthy” teacher-facing content that showcases real classroom impact, short-form video, reels, carousels, and thought leadership pieces.
Develop marketing materials for sales: pitch decks, product one-pagers, RFP response templates, and district implementation guides.
Ensure brand consistency across all channels as imagi evolves its identity post-pivot.
Conferences & Events
Own the full conference pipeline: identify relevant K-12/EdTech events (ISTE, SXSW EDU, CSTA, regional superintendent summits, etc.), submit proposals, manage registration, coordinate swag, and handle pre/post event marketing.
Write compelling speaker proposals and session abstracts that get imagi on stage.
Coordinate pre-event promotion and post-event lead follow-up in HubSpot, handing warm leads to the sales team.
Partner with Shruti (operations) on logistics and with Steph and Naomi on on-the-ground conference presence.
Campaigns & Demand Generation
Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned to the US school-year calendar (back-to-school, budget season, renewal season).
Manage email marketing campaigns in HubSpot from copywriting to audience segmentation, working alongside Helen on automation and nurture flows.
Run and optimize paid digital campaigns (Google, LinkedIn, Meta) to generate inbound leads for the US sales team.
Track campaign performance, report on key metrics (MQLs, CAC, pipeline contribution), and continuously iterate.
Webinars
Coordinate and promote teacher-facing webinars: build landing pages, manage registrations, create promotional content, and follow up with attendees.
Work with the CS team to turn PD sessions into marketing moments: capture testimonials, record sessions, and repurpose content across channels.
AI-Powered Operations & GTM Engineer
Use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Canva AI, Synthesia, Descript) to produce content at scale, without sacrificing quality.
Proactively identify and introduce AI workflows that save the team time: automated social scheduling, AI-generated first drafts, analytics dashboards.
Help establish imagi’s internal marketing playbook and brand guide as the AI-first company we are.
What you´ll bring
5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in K-12 EdTech or education-focused B2B SaaS.
Proven track record of independently creating high-quality marketing content: you write clearly, design confidently (Canva at minimum), and can produce video-ready scripts.
Experience owning conference and event marketing end-to-end — from proposal submission to post-event follow-up.
Deep familiarity with the K-12 buying cycle: you understand how teachers discover tools, how curriculum directors evaluate them, and how district procurement works.
Hands-on HubSpot experience (or equivalent CRM/marketing automation platform) for campaign execution and reporting.
Demonstrated, active use of AI tools in your day-to-day marketing work — we will ask you about this in the interview.
Strong project management skills: you can juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines without dropping the ball.
Based in the USA; familiarity with the K12 school districts is a strong advantage.
A genuine passion for education and for getting technology into the hands of students and teachers who need it.
Growth mindset with commitment to continuous upskilling and lifelong learning
Nice to have
Experience from computer science, or AI literacy products to K-12 audiences.
Background as a classroom teacher or instructional coach.
Experience with video editing tools for short-form educational content.
Familiarity with Lovable, ElevenLabs, Synthesia or similar AI tools.
Experience building or growing a teacher community or ambassador program.
Knowledge of CSTA, ISTE, or related EdTech conference ecosystems.
